PM displaying ‘Brahminical mindset’ in blaming everything to the past: Yechury
New Delhi: The CPI-M today dismissed Prime Minister’s argument that cash component is the ‘basis’ or first stage of corruption and said by his repeated utterances that the present problems in the country are mainly due to the ills of the non-governance for last 70 years only betrays the alleged “Brahminical mindset” of Narendra Modi.
“He (Modi) seems to reflecting only a Brahminical mindset.
It is like saying you are suffering in this world because of your deeds in the past life,” CPI-M general secretary Sitaram Yechury told reporters here.
Mr Yechury said contrary to what the Prime Minister is saying, “digital economy or payment” is the most serious form of corruption as in most major deals of financial defalcation world around the transaction is “not in cash”.
“The very idea of shift to digital economy actually means huge profits for the digital companies,” Mr Yechury said.
