KCR all set to launch first irrigation project in Telangana

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is all set to inaugurate the Bhakta Ramadasu lift irrigation project in Khammam district today. The foundation stone was laid for the project by the KCR on February 15, 2016.

The project has been completed months ahead of the schedule with Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao monitoring the completion of the project constantly. Also, this is the first irrigation project to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister after the formation of Telangana.

The Bhakta Ramadasu lift irrigation project will supply water to 60,000 acres in Palair Assembly constituency.
