Sania Mirza-Ivan Dodig reached mixed doubles final of Australian Open

Sania Mirza and her Croatian partner Ivan Dodig defeated Australian team players Sam Groth and Samantha Stosur by 6-4, 2-6, 10-5 in the Australia Open matches. They have entered the mixed doubles final round of the tournament.

Now, they will play against Indo-Croat pair Svitolina-Guccione.

In the beginning of the game, Indian pairs showcased terrific performance and dominated the opponent players through which Australians did three double faults.

Indian team took a lead of 4-2 against opponent players. In the first set of the game, Mirza and Dodig won the game by 6-4.

In the second set, Groth and Stosur presented outstanding performance and conceded the second set by a score of 2-6.

In the third set, Mirza and Dodig clinched next five points in a row and took a lead of 8-3 over Australians. The game finished to 10-5.

The Indians have reached to the final round of the Australian Open mixed doubles after four years.
