Russian interference in US elections: Trump says time to move on

Florida: After US President Barrack Obama on Thursday sanctioned Russian officials in retaliation for interference in the US presidential election by hacking American political sites and email accounts, US President-elect Donald Trump today said that he would be briefed about the issue next week. He also said, “It’s time for our country to move on to bigger and better things.”

“In the interest of our country and its great people, I will meet with leaders of the intelligence community next week in order to be updated on the facts of this situation,” Trump stated. According to CNN, Donald Trump told reporters in Florida, “I think that computers have complicated lives.

The whole age of computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what is going on. We have speed, we have a lot of other things, but I’m not sure we have the kind of the security we need.”

Trump’s team has dismissed Russia’s influence in the Presidential elections of US. Also, Trump administration did not declare out in the open on reversing the sanction orders of Russian officials.
