Rahul Gandhi meets Narendra Modi: Will Rahul Gandhi stop playing Tom and Jerry with Prime Minister Narendra Modi?

New Delhi: A highlight of the last sitting of the winter session of the Parliament was a very rare meeting between leaders of the Congress party including the party Vice President Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The meeting was held after the Congress delegation gave a  memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on farmers loan waiver issue. Though the meeting barely lasted 2 minutes, the irony of it was not lost.

An image that emerged after the meeting shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi meeting the Congress delegation on his own. On the other hand, there were thirteen senior members of the Congress party taking part in the meeting.

Rahul Gandhi was sitting directly opposite the Prime Minister. Flanked by senior Congress leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, Captain Amarinder Singh, Anand Sharma and Raj Babbar, his seating position was representative of blind faith in a leader who was in no way equal to his adversary.
