Car in Nara Lokesh’s Convoy Meets With An Accident, Injured Moved To Hospital

Rajahmundry: One of the cars in the TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh’s convoy met with an accident near Rajahmundry on Friday. Those seated in the car were said to be injured seriously.

The accident took place near Vemagiri in the suburbs of Rajahmundry when one of the cars in the convoy hit a road divider and toppled over thrice. The car belonged to MLC Adireddy Apparao who was travelling along with his gunmen at that time.

MLC Apparao, the accompanying gunmen and the car driver were said to be seriously injured and were moved to a nearby private hospital for treatment. More details are awaited.

Earlier on Friday, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu too had a close call with near accident when smoke was seen to be emanating from the bus in which he was travelling near Chittoor. Quick response by the authorities is said to have prevented a mishap.
