Bajaj Dominar 400 price in India starts at INR 1.36 lakh – Check features, engine specifications, images and video
The Indian two-wheeler market witnessed history in the making on 15 December with the launch of the Bajaj Dominar 400. This is Bajaj Auto‘s first foray into a market segment dominated by the Royal Enfield, and the company has set a bold target of gaining a 20 percent market share.
Royal Enfield, by the way, holds an 80 percent share of the market of motorcycles priced between INR 1 lakh and INR 2 lakh. It is a a big shift away from Bajaj’s previous strategy of volume-focused growth, and into a growing market of purposeful, high-performance machines.
The new Bajaj Dominar 400 makes for a strong case, too, especially when looking at its spot-on pricing of INR 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the non-ABS model. Even with the twin channel ABS, the Dominar is priced at INR 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The word Dominar means to conquer in Spanish, and given its features, specifications and value for money, it looks like the Bajaj Dominar 400 is all set to conquer a brand new market segment and a new niche in India’s fast-growing motorcycle world.
