Rupee trades higher at 67.13 against US dollar

Mumbai: The Indian rupee on Friday strengthened against the US dollar after India’s current account deficit (CAD) narrowed sharply due to lower trade deficit.

At 2pm, the home currency was trading at 67.13, up 0.21% from its previous close of 67.28. The local currency opened at 67.22 and touched a high of 67.10 a dollar.
