Rupee closes weaker against US dollar at 67.26

Mumbai: The Indian rupee on Tuesday weakened against the US dollar ahead of the key gross domestic product (GDP) and fiscal deficit data, due after 5.30pm.

The home currency closed at 67.26, down 0.14% from its previous close of 67.17. The rupee opened at 67.16 per US dollar and touched a high and a low of 67.11 and 67.33, respectively.
