Mumbai: The Indian rupee on Wednesday weakened past the 67-mark against the US dollar, due to concerns on thin dollar inflows and weak Asian currencies.

At 3.40pm, the home currency was trading at 66.99, down 0.16% from its previous close of 66.88. The rupee opened at 66.94 per US dollar and touched a low of 67.01, a level last seen on 16 March.
