Gorakhpur: It seems like the poster war has just begun in Uttar Pradesh. Some posters put by the minority wing of BJP were spotted in Gorakhpur district.

The BJP minority wing put up a poster on Sunday in which local MP Yogi Adityanath is seen riding a tiger and opposition functionaries Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, Asaduddin Owaisi and Rahul Gandhi riding donkeys.

The poster says, ‘Abkir Baar Yogi Sarkar’ similar on the lines of Narendra Modi’s 2014 general elections campaign.”We want to see Yogi Adityanath as CM and we are sure BJP will rock in the 2017 polls,” Irfan Ahmad said.

SP Mahanagar president Mohsin Khan said, “We believe in non-violence. Only violent people ride tiger.”

“We will stage a demonstration against the poster. BJP wants to arouse a communal feeling, which is condemnable,”AIMIM state president Sameer Siddiqui said.

Anwar Hussain, a Congress functionary on the released poster of BJP said, “It shows the mental state of BJP. A saint can’t ride a lion. Those opposed to minorities are now taking their support.”

The poster has alleged that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is misleading Muslims.
