Rupee trades higher at 66.31 against US dollar

Mumbai: The Indian rupee on Tuesday strengthened marginally following a sharp fall in the dollar index.

At 2pm, the home currency was trading at 66.31, up 0.22% from its previous close of 66.45. The rupee opened at 66.36 a dollar and touched a high of 66.23 a dollar, a level last seen on 21 April.
