Chandra Grahan on April 4: ‘Sutak’ details; how it will affect your zodiac?

New Delhi: 2015 first Chandra Grahan will take place on April 4 (Chaitra Poornima). The eclipse will take place on Saturday at 15:46 PM to 19:15 PM Indian Standard Time.

It will be a partial Lunar Eclipse and will be visible in North East India Like – Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram etc. It will also be available in others parts of world like North & South America, Australia, China, South Korea, Thailand etc.

Sutak will be applied to all those parts in India where Lunar Eclipse will be visible. Notably, according to Hindu religion Sutak is not implemented where Lunar Eclipse is not visible with open eyes.

Details of Sutak: It starts from 15:45 Mid Period of Eclipse: 17:30 Moksha (Sutak Ends): 19:15.

Initial phase of Lunar Eclipse: 2.33 PM

Lunal Eclipse begins: 3.47 PM

Middle phase of Lunar Eclipse: 5.27 PM

Full Lunal Eclipse: 5.32 PM

Lunar Eclipse ends: 7.14 PM

Eclipse released: 8.28 PM
