Man with live cartridge nabbed at Noida Metro Station

New Delhi: CISF officials nabbed a 27-year-old man after he was allegedly caught with live cartridge in his bag during a regular checkup at Noida sector 15 metro station, police said on Saturday.

The man, identified as Pankaj, was held on Friday by the metro security officials who found live cartridge after screening his bag at the Noida metro station at sector 15, DSP Vijay Dul said, PTI reported.

He was later handed over to the police last night, Dul said.

“The man put his bag in scanner and stood in the queue to board the train. The scanner detected live cartridge in the bag and the CISF team nabbed the man,” he added.

Police is interrogating the motive of the person and how he got access of the live cartridge, Dul said.
