TRS ties up with MIM – Akbar may get a berth in KCR Cabinet

Hyderabad: In what is called a strategic move, TRS Chief K Chandrashekhar Rao is all set to go with MIM and offer its leader Akbaruddin Owaisi a cabinet berth in his yet to form Government in Telangana State.

This can well be speculated when a team of TRS leaders including Etela Rajender, KTR, Nayani Narasimha Reddy and Padma Rao called on MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi and his younger brother and MLA-ELECT Akbaruddin Owaisi who is known for his voice in Assembly of undivided Andhra Pradesh. The TRS leadership is of the opinion that it can have smooth sail in the government to avoid any communal fights and put on hold TD Chief N Chandrababu Naidu from becoming an obstacle in Telangana whose party will be the prime opposition.
Also another angle being talked in media circles is that going along with MIM and like minded parties will help the TRS Government to bring adequate funds from the Centre, besides maintaining peace and calm in the heart of Hyderabad by keeping intact law and order.
Talking to media today, Owaisi brothers extended support to the TRS for running a secular government in Telangana State. Taking berth in KCR Cabinet is not an issue, but to form a peoples’ Government and delivering secular governance across the nation including T State is of paramount important, they said. ‘We will together fight on problems of power, water and others which are prime needs of people’, they said.
KTR said that they sought the MIM support for development of Hyderabad and T State through a secular fabric. Nayani maintained that their intention is to run a secular government and MIM has extended support to it. It seems the TRS leadership is of the opinion that it can give a smooth and hassle free government in Telangana State if it goes along with MIM and other parties. KCR already stated that the TRS should deliver the goods as per promises made to public during elections campaign.(NSS)
