Forecasters are warning of more heavy rain across parts of the UK, bringing further risk of flooding to some areas left struggling by recent storms.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain in south-west England until 14:00 GMT on Sunday.

It also issued an amber warning of rain for the Somerset Levels, warning people should prepare for further flooding.

Environment Secretary Owen Paterson is due to visit later to speak to those affected and the agencies helping them.

Heavy rain is also forecast for Wales and parts of southern England, including London, while much of Scotland and Northern Ireland are braced for gales.
