Hyderabad, Jan 19:

Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V. Hanumantha Rao on Sunday regretted that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy rendered gross injustice to Muslim youth by increasing eligibility of age from 18 to 21 years for self-employment schemes.

Speaking to the media here, Hanumantha Rao demanded that the State government withdraw the GO concerned increasing eligibility age for self-employment schemes. The GO was totally against the interests of the youth, he opined.

Reminding that the officials, who blindly followed instructions of a chief minister, were put behind the bars, VH suggested to the Chief Secretary not to meet such a fate. He alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was shying away from attending the AICC meeting. The Congress high command would not go back on the formation of separate Telangana State, he added.
